There's so much to explore and appreaciate about Korean culture. And from Korean Pop, people are able to see an insight to the Korean lifestyle. Korean pop is targeted to many different audiences- it all depends on what style people are attracted to. While the boy band H.O.T. was a model for the youth of Korea, bands like GFriend and Girls's Generation are more of teenage girls fantasy. And as Korean pop continues to spread because of this "idolized" representation, artists contiue to accept their audience and do what's best to find support. Korean pop has also had a major impact on Chinese and Japanese adults and youth. As China's population is so large, it's harder to connect with people. And as for Japan, their pop culture is not supported by the government and gains little popularity, which influences others to look elsewhere for pleasure.
South Korea's location is a major influence on the culture- the Korean culture is unique just to the Korean Peninsula. It's very popular to copy artist's style- from hair to clothing to accent. For the youth, bands and artists are a place of relief from all of the stress put upon them by their parents and teachers. Seeing their favorite stars gives many hope that they may be the next Keith Ape or Taeyeon. As the music is a blend of Asian and Western styles, women and men have to conform to the new fab or what's popular- perfection.
